Suburban Christian Church engaged T. Gerding Construction and Arbuckle Costic to design and construct the expansion of their facilities in West Corvallis. This addition and renovation will add a new assembly space that will act as the sanctuary and activity space for the congregation. Seating for 580 people for Sunday services in moveable seating and a design that will allow for athletics to occur in the space as well. The new construction will allow for renovation of existing worship space into large classroom spaces for the congregation’s youth and college ministries. The new construction will be tilt-up concrete panels of two different heights defining the new worship space and the new narthex and circulation space, as well as the new children’s wing, providing pre-school and day care classrooms and accompanying support spaces.
