We were hired for the second time by Our Savior’s, this time designing a completely new facility at the new Baxter Hill site. Phase I involved approximately 38,000 s.f.
and included a small 200-seat sanctuary, 600 seat multi-purpose room for worship, recreation and fellowship, and an education/administration wing providing space for
a preschool program and comprehensive Christian education program. The 10 acre site provides space for future expansion, including a proposed 800-seat future sanctuary,
adequate off-street parking, playground and ballfields. |

This project entails a facility master plan and the design of Phase I, an expansion and remodel project. Phase I included a new, larger narthex and restroom
facilities constructed for universal accesibility at ground level. The mechanical and electrical systems for the existing building were upgraded. An elevator serving the
existing basement, the existing above grade main level, and the new ground level was a major connecting element of the project. The entire project will be completed
in at least three phases and Phase I is complete. |

This project included an addition to a 1960's church. The addition of new restrooms, office area, and an expanded narthex to complement social activities paid
special attention to the 60's modern architecture. The project also addressed the church entrance and a more efficient and slightly expanded parking area. The
new barrel-vaulted sanctuary provides beautiful opportunities for natural light and is a unique visual landmark for this long time Stayton church. |

In June 2005, approximately half of this church was damaged by fire. We designed a new 400+ seat sanctuary on the existing foundation.
Remodeling of the basement area provides education and youth classrooms. The project also includes strong entrance identification and
new lobby gathering space. This project was complete in Summer 2007. |

Our office developed a master plan for this growing congregation. The first phase included a 6,000 s.f. multi-purpose worship space, restrooms, lobby,
and nursery. This space was strategically designed to evolve into a large narthex space when the future 1,500 seat sanctuary is built. The project also
includes associated parking lots and sitework. |
